Aladdin, An Ages Entwined Theater Production

Aladdin, An Ages Entwined Theater Production

Presented by Peaks Senior Living Community at Peaks Senior Living Community

The audition for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Aladdin, hosted by The Peaks, A Senior Living Community, will take place at the community at 3150 North Winding Brook Road. There are roles for those students entering 1st grade through 12th grade and residents at The Peaks. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the multi-generational show with the MCT Tour. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal for the play begins approximately 15 minutes after the auditions are completed.

This is a group audition–so no advance preparation is necessary, but a friendly smile never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! Please call (928) 864-5355 to reserve a spot for your audition.

Auditions are Monday, June, 8th from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM.  Rehearsals are Monday, June 8th at 3:15PM-5:15PM and Tuesday-Saturday, June 8th-June 13th. There will be two rehearsals sessions every day. Session 1: 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Session 2: 3:15PM-5:15PM.   Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week (June 8-June 13), and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4.5hours of rehearsal will receive a snack at break.

The performances will be held on Friday, June 12th at 6:30PM and Saturday, June 13th at 3:00 PM and will be presented in the Alpine Room. The students and residents in the cast will have a dress rehearsal before the performance that day. All cast members must also be available for all scheduled performances.

The residency in Flagstaff, AZ is made possible by the Ages Entwined™ program at The Peaks.   Ages Entwined is a national program developed by The Goodman Group, the management company for The Peaks, which helps bring generations together at our managed senior living communities to create meaningful interactions and provide an opportunity for sharing wisdom, mentoring and socializing.  We have teamed up with The Missoula Children's Theatre, a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana, to bring a theatre experience to a number of our managed communities and provide an opportunity for all generations to shine and benefit from the intergenerational experience.
