PRIMAL Belly Dance & PRIMAL Ecstatic Dance classes will run for a 6 week semester starting June 10th, 2015. Cost is $60.00 for the semester per class or save money and take both classes for $90.00. Details below.

7:00-8:00 PM: PRIMAL Belly Dance– Open to women of all shapes and sizes, Primal Belly Dance™ combines traditional Belly Dance with Zehara’s signature original style of Primal—integrating both Middle Eastern dance with African and Aboriginal movement. This 6-week course will awaken your sensual Primal energy to help develop and promote good posture, balance and help build muscle tone. Each semester, students will learn a full choreography based on a central mythology from an ancient culture using Theatrical and Shamanic storytelling. Tell a story through dance and learn to stimulate creative energy through movement!

8:00-9:00 PM: PRIMAL Ecstatic Dance™ – OPEN TO MEN & WOMEN. PRIMAL combines ancient ecstatic trance dance, with African, Aboriginal and Middle Eastern movements. Dancing to live drumming, this course is an improvisational journey into your body and soul. For students new to improvisational and ecstatic dance, several easy combinations are drilled. Every class begins with a warm up and ends with a meditation. This is a great way to release tension, connect with your body and awaken your soul.
