High School age students from all Northern Arizona are invited to form teams and make a 1-8 minute superhero-themed movie within an 8-hour window at Coconino High School.
The theme is Super Heroes and students must provide their own mask, superhero tights or cape. There will be other mandatory elements (any such material will provided or free to obtain on site) that will not be revealed until the film competition 8 hours begins. The teams will take the film from script (required, developed, and written on site) to finished film within 8 hours. No team member may leave an 800-foot radius of the building during the event. Outside or electronic contact with persons not part of the event can disqualify teams at the discretion of the sponsors. Teams must have their own recording equipment, but computer workstations with screenwriting and editing software (DaVinci Resolve, FinalCut Pro, and Premiere Pro CC) will be available.
Teams that register in advance pay $5 per team member, up to $25 a team. Fees double the day of competition.

Successful completers of a film in this competition are eligible to submit to the CHS True Heroes Film Competition and Showcase to be held March 14th, 2020, where celebrity judge Cirina Catania will be in attendance.
