This series explores the unknown and infinite nature of our universe juxtaposed against man's biggest limiter; the illusion of time. Nick Lawrence approaches this subject matter with the attention to an underlying theme of the soul's journey through time and space.

A Space in Time runs from October 31st - November 30th at The HeArt Box.

About the artist:

Nick Lawrence has been creating art for most of his life, but his painting career really began ten years ago.   He has a tendency toward blending organic, natural subject matter with objects created by humankind to create metaphorical content.  Many of Nick’s paintings illustrate the relationship between humans and nature.

Nick is inspired by science, nature, and humanity.  As an artist, he seeks to push the boundaries of his imagination as a means to express his own personal inquisitive nature.  He creates art with the intention of creating conflict between realistic content versus imagery that could only be found in fantasy.  In doing so, Nick seeks to challenge the viewer to question their own perceptions of reality, and to open up to the possibility of broadening the lens through which they perceive their world.
