The Coconino County Sustainable Building Tour is happening once again this Fall!
The 2019 event will be held on Saturday, September 28th, from 10am-2pm.
This self-guided tour kicks off from Willow Bend where physical tour packets will be available to pick up. Alternatively, packets will be available to download online at the link provided after September 15th.
So far, this year's tour includes 8 different locations that you can visit to learn more about energy and water efficiency technologies and approaches, alternative building materials and construction methods and other aspects of sustainable building. The tour theme “A Moonshot Approach: From Inspiration to Installation” ties into that of this year’s Festival of Science: “To the Moon and Back.” A definition of “moonshot,” is “an ambitious, exploratory and ground-breaking project,” and the projects on the tour surely fit this description!
