Pianist Charly Spining and vocalists Stephen & Lynn Timmons Edwards will present a concert of songs ranging from Opera to Broadway to classic country hits.
Pianist Charly Spining and vocalists, Stephen & Lynn Timmons Edwards will present a concert on Sunday, September 1, 3 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 423 N. Beaver, Flagstaff. In addition to patriotic music to celebrate Labor Day Weekend, the concert will include art songs, opera, Broadway, jazz standards and the country hits of Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash.
No tickets are required. Donations will be accepted at the door which will be split between the artists and the Episcopal Church Organ Fund. Charly has been the organist for the church since the 1980s and has been spearheading the restoration of a unique historic organ which will be heard during the concert.
Charly and Lynn are the team that brought Salute to Sinatra, Richard Rodgers in Story and Song and A Night at the Oscars to Flagstaff over the past four summers. Stephen is a Bass-Baritone who is classically trained but is at home with everything from Mozart to Motown.
