Activist and film maker Aurora Guerrero will be present for a screening of her award-winning film, "Mosquita y Mari." The film follows two Chicanas coming of age in Huntington Park as they forge a complex friendship, mixed with unanticipated desires.  

Pre-screening pizza event in SBS West 100 Suite at 5pm, with opportunity to meet the film maker directly. Film screening at 6pm, in SBS West 200, 19 W McConnell Drive. A panel discussion with faculty from the Women's and Gender Studies and Ethnic Studies Departments will follow the film.
