Join us for Flagstaff Red Screen Film Festival
••NEW•• Join us in Flagstaff July 24-28 for the inaugural Flagstaff Red Screen Film Festival. A partnership between the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University, Red Screen Film Festival celebrates the work of local and international Indigenous filmmakers to promote greater understanding of Indigenous cultures and their contemporary artistic expressions.
The festival's incredible lineup of narrative features, shorts and documentaries includes the Arizona Theatrical Premiere of Warrior Women, the powerful story of American Indian Movement activists including Lakota leader Madonna Thunder Hawk, who graces this year's festival poster. Twelve filmmakers are traveling to Flagstaff from across the country to participate in post-screening discussions moderated by festival co-director Shepherd Tsosie. The Festival will also pay tribute to local filmmaker and photographer Jake Hoyungowa.
Did we mention the entire festival is free? Visit redscreenfilmfestival.org for more info and to reserve your free tickets.
Red Screen tickets are free. Seats will be allocated to ticket holders on first-come, first-served basis until venue is full. You don't need a ticket to attend, but note that ticketholders will be seated first. Reserve your free tickets at redscreenfilmfestival.org.
