Kachina Wetlands Bird Walk

Kachina Wetlands Bird Walk

Presented by Northern Arizona Audubon Society at Kachina Wetlands

Northern Arizona Audubon offers monthly bird walks at Kachina Wetlands. You won’t want to miss our April bird walk, because this is the height of spring migration. Kachina Wetlands is Flagstaff's premiere location for birding, with over 200 species recorded over the years and 20-40 species seen on any given day.  The site is wheelchair accessible, and the event is perfect for all ages.

To reach Kachina Wetlands from Flagstaff, take I-17 south about six miles to the Kachina Village exit. Take a right and immediately go right again, which will put you on Tovar Trail. Follow Tovar for 1 mile and when the road ends, turn right into an unpaved parking area. To locate the event with your cellphone, enter 2375 Utility Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
