Uncovering the Connected Environmental Histories of the Southwest

Uncovering the Connected Environmental Histories of the Southwest

Presented by Riordan Mansion State Historic Park at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park

Using the twin lenses of migration and environmental unpredictability, this talk will explore the patterns and pulses of Southwestern history through a series of connected stories across time. Starting in Pre-Columbian times but emphasizing the nineteenth century, the talk will uncover how environmental change and migration sit at the heart of Southwestern history to this day.
