Ace Slim is the guitarist, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Trevor Turville. The name derives from his grandfather’s nick name, “Ace” who was a pilot during WWII, and “Slim” from Memphis Slim, the legendary American blues pianist, singer, and composer.
Although mainly a guitarist, Turville also plays piano, organ, banjo, ukulele, bass, drums, harmonica, and the Jew’s harp. Self-taught, he has years of experience playing Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, and Bluegrass, and his musical style crosses several genres.
