A celebration of the 150th anniversary of the John Wesley Powell Expedition
Join AHS Pioneer Museum staff and Historic Brewing Co. in celebrating the 150th anniversary of John Wesley Powell’s Colorado River Expedition. Richard Quartaroli will discuss the history of the epic journey while Christa Sadler will present a modern view, “Seeing Things Whole: Powell and an Understanding of the American West.” We will also play Colorado River trivia throughout the evening and have a limited edition HBC Powell commemorative brew to drink!
