The Flagstaff Arts Council presents a new workshop on Seeking Sponsorships for Non-Profits with local leadership guru, Jenean (Merk) Perelstein. Jenean knows how to help get out of your own way and take the necessary steps to attaining financial success for your non-profit business. It can be overwhelming to build new connections and gain funding through sponsorships. In this half day workshop you will learn how to fundraise, communicate effectively, how to ask the right questions and who to ask, find sponsors, and much more.

If you are a mission-driven non-profit business owner, board member or volunteer and are ready to break through whatever barriers are in your way to secure more sponsorships, than this workshop is for you! Jenean will help you define your workplace culture and keep your environment positive, productive, and profitable. Gain a holistic approach to solving problems and honing in on the skills needed as a professional to ensure sustained success.

In this half day workshop we will dive into what it takes to build powerful financial connections for fundraising and gaining sponsorships.

We’ll discuss topics such as:
– the concept of fundraising and how to make it feel accessible
– communicating your offer effectively
– who and how to ask
– making connections/ friendraising
– tiered asks and how they can offer benefits
– how to recognize your sponsors

Jenean Merkel Perelstein is an expert in behavior change and method cultivation. As a sociocultural anthropologist she has learned and implemented strategies that have made many organizations fortunes. Her ideas have spanned all the way from the markets of India to the boardrooms across the United States.

Not only is Jenean a Business Strategist, U.S. Patent holder but also a speaker, CEO, and an author. As the writer and creator of Internal Alchemie: The Welcoming Abundance Blueprint and Stand In Your Own Strength, her tools are accessible to all business developers. Her anthropology background allows her to see behaviors that usually are unnoticed and hold organizations back from reaching their goals. She mentors organizations and gives workshops on how to develop a workplace culture, gain leadership abilities, and achieve a higher level of profitability and positivity.
