The Civic Service Institute’s GEMS Flagstaff Citywide Volunteer Luncheon, sponsored by Findlay Auto Group, will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the High County Conference Center, 201 W. Butler Ave.  Doors will open at 11:00 am for hors-d'oeuvres with lunch being served starting at 11:45.  GEMS recognizes the “gems” we have in our community; those volunteers who go above and beyond and make our community the greatest place to live.

Nominations for volunteer awards are currently open under the following categories:

• Youth (up to age 17)
• Adult (ages 18-54)
• Senior (age 55 and over)
• National Service (Current AmeriCorps, VISTA, or Senior Corps member)
• International Service (local folks volunteering outside the US)
• Family (those volunteering as a family together)
• Civic Organization (those groups volunteering for the benefit of the community)
• Business (those who encourage their employees to volunteer or who commit to volunteer as a business)
• Nonprofit (organizations which utilize volunteers to their fullest)
