Feast for Flagstaff

Feast for Flagstaff

Presented by Flagstaff Arts Council at Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library

This “delicious night for an important cause” has raised vital funds in support of the organization’s mission of providing year-round shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness. Each day, FSS serves 155 people with shelter, food, and services. FSS also works to transition individuals into permanent housing, and long-term funding is critical to the success of this initiative.

This year’s event will feature another installment of the annual “Perspectives of Homelessness” exhibit, including unique stories of individuals experiencing homelessness told through written and spoken word.

“Feast for Flagstaff has become a signature event in our community, and the cornerstone of FSS’ fundraising efforts,” said Ross Altenbaugh, FSS Executive Director. “We look forward to transforming the downtown library into the beautiful backdrop for this entertaining and uplifting evening, and raising money for our vital programs and services.”

Tickets for the Feast for Flagstaff will be available for purchase on the FSS website at www.flagshelter.org beginning next month.

FSS provides individuals experiencing homelessness with crisis stabilization and tools they need to achieve housing stability. Access to these services is available to all, regardless of faith, mental health, or sobriety. FSS provides these critical services to those most likely to die on the streets tonight. The goal is not only to assist individuals in finding permanent housing but also to ensure that each person has access to the supportive services necessary to achieve housing permanence.
