March for Love

March for Love

Presented by Together We Will, Northern Arizona at Flagstaff City Hall

Flagstaff's third annual March for Love will take place Saturday, January 19, from 1-3 p.m. The march will start at City Hall (211 W. Aspen Ave.) where marchers will be greeted with live music from Sage Bond. From City Hall, the march will head east on Aspen, north on San Francisco, west on Birch, and south on Humphreys back to City Hall. This year’s march will highlight women in the local community making a difference through activism.

Speakers include women from the community working on issues including climate change, missing and murdered indigenous women, violence against women, and immigration rights. Among the featured speakers are Arizona State Senator Jamescita Peshlakai and Miss Navajo Nation, Autumn Montoya.

This is the third consecutive year the non-profit organization Together We Will, Northern Arizona has hosted a march. Originally part of the Women’s March movement, the Flagstaff march was refocused to include the entire community. Everyone is invited to join the March for Love 3.0, no matter gender identity, racial/ethnic identity, or immigration status.
