Orbit: A Symphonic Fantasy Dark Skies Concert

Orbit: A Symphonic Fantasy Dark Skies Concert

Presented by Orchestra Northern Arizona and Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition at Coconino Center for the Arts

Every two years, the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition treats Flagstaff to a month-long series of mostly free events that celebrate the night sky and the impact it has on us.

In what is a unique opportunity, ONA has invited noted composer Karim Elmahmoudi to Flagstaff for a special performance of his original composition, Orbit, A Symphonic Fantasy. The piece, which premiered in Los Angeles in 2012, now plays hourly at the California Science Center, which houses the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

As most Orchestra Northern Arizona concerts are full to capacity, there will be two performances: one at 3:30pm and one at 7:00pm. We recommend that you arrive early, as seats are first come, first served.
