The GORE-TEX Kahtoola Uphill mountain race is at the Arizona Snowbowl Fremont Restaurant & Bar on Sat, Feb. 9 and all proceeds benefit Friends of Camp Colton and support outdoor education for kids.
The GORE-TEX Kahtoola Uphill is a fun, family-friendly annual mountain race designed to encourage human-powered movement. Join us as we celebrate our 12th year! Teams are back this year and bigger than ever. Get three of your friends together and form a team of 4. Ranging from fun to challenging, run the Flagstaff Subaru Fun Climb, Midway Climb or Lumberyard Brewing Co. Agassiz Climb, or hang out at the bottom and cheer on the racers. And DON’T forget to dress up and enter our costume contest!
Kahtoola generously loans out MICROspikes at racer check-in as needed (first come, first serve). Racers, supporters, volunteers, and spectators can enjoy food and festivities at the Arizona Snowbowl Fremont Restaurant & Bar, the new start/finish location. Race registration is open! Racers can register until noon on Saturday, February 9, 2019. You can also register at the Kahtoola office (431 S. River Run Rd.) on Friday, Feb. 8 from 3-6 pm and Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 am - noon.
Flagstaff Subaru Fun Climb: $25 (ages 12 and under $10)
Midway Climb: $50
Lumberyard Brewing Co. Agassiz Climb: $75
TEAMS ARE BACK!
Four-person teams (any mix of males and females are allowed). Teams can use any mix of traction and/or skinning. All team members MUST complete the same race course to finish. When registering, all team members MUST register under the same team name.

Pre-race meeting in the Fremont Restaurant & Bar at 5:15 pm. The race is set to start at 5:30 pm right outside of the Fremont Restaurant & Bar. All courses will start at the Fremont Restaurant & Bar.
