The 3rd Annual Family Dance Party is an event for all ages to raise funds for One New Education, a local 501c3 non-profit that provides scholarships for girls in developing countries to attend school. We will have music and dancing of all kinds! Pop music starts off the day, followed by Grupo Tlaloc de Tucson, a family trio that performs tradittional Aztec dances. Vusi Shibambo and Friends bring high-energy African drumming and dancing from Sedona, and we cap off the day with salsa dancing and lessons for the whole family from the Flagstaff Latin Dance Collective. We'll have a variety of snacks and drinks, information about the program and our scholarship recipients, and a great raffle with loads of items for all ages donated from area businesses. Kids can make cards and art for the girls and themsellves at a special craft table. Bring the whole family!
