Special Members’ only preview of the newest exhibition at Coconino Center for the Arts – Hidden Landscapes
The Arts Council is excited to present Hidden Landscapes: Yasuaki Onishi in the Main Gallery at the Coconino Center for the Arts. The exhibition features site-specific immersive installation art by Japanese artist Yasuaki Onishi. This unique show will be created for the space at the Coconino Center for the Arts and opens with a Members’ Preview on Saturday, September 15th, followed by a public reception on Saturday the 22nd. The show will remain open through October 27, 2018.
Yasuaki will give an artist talk on his work from: 5-5:45pmfollowed by a Taiko Drumming performance by Random Impulse Taiko in the theater from 6-6:30pm, with demonstrations to follow. The reception will also feature an open bar and food catered by Zenith Steakhouse of Twin Arrows.
