Join us for the unveiling of a brand new mural in downtown Flagstaff. UNITY represents 5 hands of different skin tones spelling the word unity in American Sign Language. In the background, there is a rainbow starburst representing diversity and pride. Artist Karen Fiorito has partnered with Together We Will Northern Arizona and Flagstaff Pride for this project, an 8 foot by 19.5 foot mural on the side of the Orpheum Theater. This mural will be a permanent addition to Flagstaff’s Downtown art collection and in view of the public. This project has the approval of the Flagstaff Beautification and Public Art Commission and Heritage Preservation Commission and has received a Beautification In Action Grant from the city.
