The Peace Day Celebration begins with a Run for Peace from 7:00 to 9:00 am.  The Run will begin at Heritage Square and follow the urban trail along Route 66 to Switzer Canyon and back to Heritage Square.  Register on Friday, Sept. 21st at the Peace Pole Dedication, or beginning at 6:00 am on Saturday, Sept. 22nd at Heritage Square.  Water and snacks will be provided.  The first 100 participants will receive a free shirt!

At 9:00 am we will construct a food can Labyrinth at the Aspey, Watkins & Diesel parking lot on Heritage Square.

From 10:00 am to 3:30 pm is the International Peace Day Festival at Heritage Square.  Various tables and activities will provide opportunities for members of the Flagstaff community to learn about local and worldwide peacemaking efforts.  There will be crafts for the kids!
