FIBA Stakeholders Meeting & Party

FIBA Stakeholders Meeting & Party

Presented by Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance at The Toasted Owl

CALL TO ACTION!!

FIBA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING & PARTY
Tuesday, August 28th, 5:30 - 7:30
at The Toasted Owl on Mike’s Pike.

FIBA was founded 13 years ago in August 2005. We are an affiliate of the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA).

“We are a coalition of locally owned independent businesses and community members working (and playing) together to further develop the economic vitality of Flagstaff while enhancing and preserving its unique character.”

These days with Amazon and other online “extraction economy” corporations on the rise, it’s more important than ever to spread the FIBA message:

* Entrepreneurship fuels local job creation.
* Local businesses keep revenue circulated locally, and enhance community vitality.
* Local businesses generate more tax revenue for our community at lower public cost.
* We foster community cohesion and well-being
* Community based businesses reduce pollution and improve environmental sustainability.

Let’s face it, Flagstaff doesn’t need to support the big boxes, we need to support each other.

We are already in discussion with Local First Arizona to collaborate on local events and resource sharing. Come prepared to brainstorm and discuss more options for moving FIBA forward.

We will be looking for new Board members and officers, Committee members, and your good energy and ideas.

Come be a part of the action.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 28th 5:30 - 7:30.
