The Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff presents “THE 21st ANNUAL FLAGSTAFF OPEN STUDIOS” August 25 and 26, 2018. – 10 AM to 5 PM all across the great Flagstaff area. Flagstaff Open Studios is a self-guided tour of the finest artists and their studios in Flagstaff, which allows the public to witness up close the artists at work in their creative environments, demonstrating their techniques and offering their work for sale directly to the public. Participating this year are painters, photographers, jewelry, ceramic, glass, fiber, and multi-media artists covering the entire artistic spectrum. As there was last year, there are also several “EMERGING ARTISTS” whose artwork is being debuted at FLAGSTAFF OPEN STUDIOS. “PRELUDE to Flagstaff Open Studios” at the Coalition’s ARTS CONNECTION GALLERY in the FLAGSTAFF MALL, is the perfect place to begin your tour. It is there that examples of the Open Studios artists may be viewed along our brochure guide to map out your tour. The “PRELUDE” Exhibition will be located at THE ARTS CONNECTION at the Flagstaff Mall, and is open daily Monday through Saturday from NOON to 7 PM, Sunday Noon to 6 PM, from August 5, through both Open Studios days. Brochures for the Open Studios tour are available at the ARTS CONNECTION, the Flagstaff Visitors Center, and many locations throughout the greater Flagstaff area, Sedona, Prescott and Phoenix, and can be viewed and/or downloaded at flagstaff-arts.org. Residents of the greater Phoenix are invited to escape the heat and travel up to cool Flagstaff for a ”WEEKEND of WONDER” at FLAGSTAFF OPEN STUDIOS.
