Her early days in Southern California were spent studying the guitar and lute with John Schneiderman, critically acclaimed virtuoso of plucked instruments. She earned a BA degree in guitar performance from the University of CA, Irvine. During this time she also composed and toured with her original rock band, Rising.
For the last 10 years, Gina has lived in the Pacific Northwest, playing extensively as a solo artist, and very recently recording her first CD Mirrors. She now resides in Sedona, AZ, writing and performing music daily.
Currently, her repertoire includes virtuoso pieces by JS Bach, Isaac Albeniz, Fernando Sor and Heitor Villa-Lobos, as well as jazz standards, rock-n-roll classics, and originals.
