"Music has always been a huge part of my life. From the time I was 5 years old my mother was playin' great music in the house. Cats like Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley…she sang and played a little bit of guitar too.
When I was 7 my mother sat down with me and showed me an album she had. It was Chuck Berry's Greatest Hits Vol. 1. and When I opened that double record set and saw the photo of him on the inside, man, that did it.
Iconic photo. Chuck lookin' down at his guitar, flooded in stage lights, sweat drippin off him…THAT, is Rock N' Roll, and THAT'S what I wanna do! I wanted to be THAT guy!"
