Presented by Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy at Heritage Square

Empty Bowls

The National Honor Society at Flagstaff Arts & Leadership Academy, a local public charter secondary performing & visual arts school, will be hosting Empty Bowls on May 4 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Heritage Square in Downtown Flagstaff. Empty Bowls is an annual fundraiser that helps to raise awareness about hunger within the Flagstaff community, with the majority of our profit going to local food banks. The rest goes to support Rancho Feliz, an organization helping to battle hunger in Sonora, Mexico. There will be ice cream and locally made bowls for sale, performances by the FALA community, and more

The fundraiser will be selling beautiful bowls handcrafted by the students of FALA and other local artists in the Flagstaff community. You will be helping a wonderful cause to end hunger within the Flagstaff community. By buying as many bowls as you please and enjoying a delicious bowl of ice cream. The proceeds made at the fundraiser will not just be going to end hunger but towards St. Mary’s Food Bank, Flagstaff Family Food Center, and Rancho Feliz.

While helping out a good cause you will also be able to enjoy wonderful performances put on by many of Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy’s student populace. Including a variety of dance pieces and music compositions from both individuals and classes. Come show your support!

Empty Bowl will be held at Heritage Square. For additional information about the event contact Geneva Lanzetta, National Honor Society president, at 928.607.9011
