The Havasupai Tribe depends on the blue-green waters that
emerge in the Grand Canyon for drinking water. But now,
uranium mining on the canyon’s rims threatens the tribe’s
existence and its way of life. A 20-year ban on new uranium
mining claims around the Grand Canyon is at risk of being
overturned by the Trump administration.

Join together Wednesday, April 18th 6:00 at the NAU Native American Cultural Center to view this important short film, and find out how to get involved.

This film will also be shown Tuesday April 17th in Physical Sciences room 103 at 5:30. Lastly, the film will be featured Saturday 4/21 at the Flagstaff Foundry, 8:30pm at Coconino Center for the Arts.

The screenings on 4/17 and 4/18 are free, the Flagstaff Foundry is $5 per ticket.
