FLAGSTAFF TRAIN DAY CELEBRATION

Flagstaff Visitor Center, 1 E. Route 66

Join the Visitor Center Staff and train aficionados for a day of train-related family activities including live music, crafts, displays of railroad items, a Kids Depot, local artists and raffles, including prizes of two (2) tickets to the Grand Canyon Railway and two (2) tickets the Verde Canyon Railroad! All activities are free to take part in INCLUDING the Kiddie Caboose!

10 a.m. Cake Cutting with Councilmember Jim McCarthy

10:30 a.m. 10 min. scenes performed by Theatrikos

11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kiddie Caboose Train Rides

Noon to 1 p.m. All of the Above String Band

In addition to these activities, visit booths featuring the Grand Canyon Railway, Operation Lifesaver, Verde Canyon Railroad, the Flagstaff Model Train Club, and more. And as always, the Visitor Center staff will be on site to assist you with your travel needs and you can browse the selection of train items in the gift shop.
