Science Café - ONE SMALL STEP FOR RED ONIONS

Science Café - ONE SMALL STEP FOR RED ONIONS

Presented by Museum of Northern Arizona at Museum of Northern Arizona

Join Northland Preparatory Academy 7th graders Asa, Ethan and Dylan and their teacher Susan Brown to learn how NPA was selected to become the first school in Arizona to send an experiment to the International Space Station. The students will demonstrate how they will measure the impact of microgravity on the growth of ten red onions from seed. Kaci Heins, Flagstaff's own space girl, will also be on hand to describe the many ways in which the school is participating in the Student Space Flight Experiments Program.
