A free and open event co-sponsored by the NAU Student Activities Council and the Graduate Association of Political Science

Adam Jones, Ph.D., is Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. He is the author of the widely-used textbook "Genocide: A Comprehensive Introduction" (3rd edition, 2017), and author or editor of over a dozen other books on genocide and crimes against humanity, gender and international politics, and transitional mass media. He was recently selected as one of "Fifty Key Thinkers on the Holocaust and Genocide," and has worked as an expert consultant with the United Nations Office of Genocide Prevention. Jones has lived and/or travelled in over 100 countries worldwide, and is also a widely-published photojournalist (see his Global Photo Archive at https://www.flickr.com/photos/adam_jones/albums).

The NAU Bookstore will make limited copies of Prof. Jones' work available during a book-signing session following the presentation.
