The Janimal is a Jersey tomato roasting in the
Arizona sun. A graduate of the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University (NJ). he works and resides in Sedona. The president of the Northern Arizona Cartoonist Association (NAZCA) he splits his time between creating and drawing comics with hosting drawing classes for kids at local libraries in the Verde Valley and being a father and husband. Gathering around a table to play a game is a modest act of collaboration and entertainment. By offering public opportunities to play, Vault aspires to connect community members around positive memories of friendly competition, teamwork, storytelling, and joy. When diverse backgrounds come around a table, we have seen that the insight of that team is greater than a homogeneous group and its opportunities for triumph multiply. In a small way, Vault events and tabletop gaming in general supports community building as an ongoing, face-to-face practice.

This event is for people who have never played Magic before, need a Magic refresher, or want to introduce a friend to the game. Show up, get a Welcome Deck, and play Magic against other newer players. Learn from a Magic expert!
