Arizona Mountain Chorale Concert

Presented by Master Chorale of Flagstaff at Coconino Center for the Arts

The Arizona Mountain Chorale a chamber choir chosen by audition from the singers of the Master Chorale.

The concert features historic, multicultural, and contemporary choral works as well as solo songs by Aaron Copland. Featured works include world music from Cuba, Sudan, and South Africa, popular spirituals, and old American songs arranged by Aaron Copland.

2013-2014 marks the third season for the Arizona Mountain Chorale. This 20-voice vocal chamber ensemble performs traditional and historic choral repertoire composed specifically for smaller chamber choirs.  The group performs in concert with the Master Chorale of Flagstaff, by invitation at various events, and in schools in Flagstaff and Sedona.

Music Director Dr. Edith Copley is in her twentieth year with the Master Chorale of Flagstaff, and is also a regents’ professor and director of choral studies at NAU, where she conducts the renowned Shrine of the Ages Choir. Dr. Copley is in high demand as a guest conductor and clinician for choral festivals and conferences throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Admission Info

Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors; $5 for students. To avoid an online purchasing fee, tickets can also be purchased at the Coconino Center for the Arts or by calling.
