The 16th Annual City of Flagstaff Recycled Art Exhibition
Opening Reception on Saturday April 7 2018 - 6 to 8 PM. Exhibition continues through April 30th.
“One Person’s Trash is Another’s Art”

Local artists from all over Coconino County, Sedona, Yavapai County, and the Native American Reservations , along with students of all ages come together to promote recycling through this creative, fun, and inspiring exhibition.

All artwork in the show must contain at least 80% recycled or reused materials. The possibilities are endless, and the exhibition celebrates the creativity of the artists and community of Northern Arizona. The purpose of the exhibition is to encourage the reuse of a variety of materials in new, different, and creative forms and to promote recycling and resource conservation.
During the FREE Opening Reception on Saturday April 7 2018 - 6 to 8 PM, many artists will be in attendance to discuss their creations in a one-on-one setting. Many of the larger artworks will be displayed in the concourse of the FLAGSTAFF MALL for the run of the exhibition. Awards will be presented at the reception to artwork entries in the exhibition for Most Creative, Most Humorous, Most Useful, Best Use of Material, Elegance, Simplicity, Best Use of Discarded Snow play materials, Best of Show, and new this year, Best Military/and or Vet Artwork . A People’s Choice award voted on by all attendees will be announced at the close of the exhibition.

The City of Flagstaff Recycled Art Exhibition is partially funded by The Flagstaff Community Foundation and the Flagstaff Arts Council and the Arizona Commission on the Arts.

The FREE exhibition will run from April 7 – April 30, 2017 at the Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff’s ARTS CONNECTION Flagstaff Mall. Hours are Monday through Saturdays, 12:00 NOON -7:00pm and Sundays 12:00 NOON to 6 PM. Admission is free. For more information, visit flagstaff-arts.org or call (928)522-6969.
