Masterful Mixup Concert

Masterful Mixup Concert

Presented by Orchestra Northern Arizona at Flagstaff High School Main Auditorium

Orchestra Northern Arizona will present its annual Masterful Mixup Concert in Flagstaff High School’s Main Auditorium on Saturday, February 24, at 7 p.m.

The program will comprise some of the greatest classical orchestral music, and will be introduced and presented informally by our artistic director and conductor, David Cripps – with the help of assistant conductor, Jeff Good. Composers represented throughout the evening range from the early classical period of Josef Haydn, right through to the late romantic era of Gustav Mahler.

The second half of the concert will be a “symphony” of four movements, each drawn from the output of four different, yet equally great, composers: Sibelius, Schubert, Mahler and Brahms.

In a first-time event, ONA is also excited to announce that members of Youth Orchestra Northern Arizona will be playing on several of the program's selections alongside ONA members.

ONA concerts are free to public, or “pay-what-you-can,” with a suggested donation of $5 per adult, $3 per child. For more information about this concert or about ONA, please visit www.orchestrana.org or email admin@orchestrana.org. Flagstaff High School is located at 400 W. Elm, Ave., and is ADA compliant.
