Talented stand up comic Maurice Northup makes his return to the Doris Harper-White Community Playhouse following a sold-out show here last September. Maurice's biting material brings to mind icons such as George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, and Bill Hicks, while maintaining his own unique approach. Not for those who are easily offended, his work deals with a vast array of topical subject matter that entertains while forcing the audience to think critically. Reza Asgari will be the opening act, and there will be two shows: one at 8pm and one at 10pm.

In addition to two shows on the night of Saturday, March 15, Maurice is hosting a performance workshop in the afternoon for anyone who is interested in the art of stand up comedy or simply wants to improve their public speaking skills. The workshop costs $50 (only $35 until March 1) and includes a lifetime of follow-up coaching and support! Space is limited, so please reserve a spot in the class soon.
