NAU Hockey Club takes on the Coyotes Alumni in an exhibition fundraising game.
Started in 1971, the Division 2 Team of the NAU Hockey Club ends its 2017-2018 season with a 19-6-1 record. They are ranked number 1 in their division and with 39 points, they’re headed for Nationals.
The trip to Nationals is an additional cost to the team. To help raise the needed funds, they will be hosting an exhibition match with the Coyotes Alumni on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Puck drop is 5 p.m. at the Jay Lively Ice Rink. There will be a pre-game tailgate in the parking lot of the Jay Lively Ice Rink starting at 3:30 p.m.
The Coyotes Alumni are looking to bring their A-game. In the game last year, the NAU Ice Jacks beat the Coyotes Alumni. “We really appreciate the support from the Coyotes Alumni Team,” said Assistant Coach Kris Walsh. “They are helping grow the sport and getting more people out to cheer us on is great.”
