Artist Tina Mion presents "Not Dead Yet: Thoughts and Paintings on Death and Dying" - a visual talk combining a personal and historical perspective that is both serious and humorous. Topics include death in the White House a historical look back, the taboo of suicide, personal loss, why butlers are often murderers, and what comes next.

Tina Mion was born in Washington DC and spent part of her childhood in an abandoned mortuary. She and her husband currently live in Winslow, Arizona where they own and have restored the historic La Posada Hotel. Tina's paintings have been used in university classes for both American history and death and dying. She has given talks around the country including the University of Chicago, the Phoenix Art Museum and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC where her work is currently on display for the third time.
