Public Talk: Fearless Life

Public Talk: Fearless Life

Presented by International Kadampa Retreat Center at Coconino Center for the Arts

Is it possible to be free from fear and anxiety while living in such an uncertain and even dangerous world? Yes, it is. Through controlling the mind and learning to respond skillfully to life’s challenges, we can free ourselves from crippling fears and other painful emotions. We can gain the ability to approach normally anxiety-inducing situations with the confidence of a peaceful mind and a good heart. Then we will know through our own experience how this mental freedom gives us great meaning and enjoyment in our life.

Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned Buddhist ordained teacher and the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). As a senior teacher of the NKT, Gen-la Jampa has taught internationally for many years.
