Zachary Scot Johnson

Presented by Flagstaff Folk Project at Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation

Phoenix Singer-songwriter Zachary Scot Johnson captivates listeners with the lush emotional landscape of his acoustic fusion music. He blends blues and folk, alt-country and pop, and rock-n-roll, creating his signature sound, a distinctive musical flavor unlike any other.

Not an ounce of Johnsons spirit escapes being funneled into his music holding himself to high standards. Johnson's subjects range from personal relationship topics, to social and some political content.

According to a Wisconsin newspaper, "Zachary Scot Johnson has the smooth guitar lines of James Taylor, the spunk of Joni Mitchell, the vocals of Elvis Costello, and the songwriting ability of all three."

Johnson has included this visit to Flagstaff on his 2013 midwest-southwest Tour.
