Día de los Muertos

Presented by Coconino County Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church & Cultural Center

A variety of Northern Arizona University student organizations will celebrate Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 224 S. Kendrick St., Flagstaff.

The afternoon will consist of sugar skull decorating, a kid’s craft table, free food, piñata bashing, altar displays, face painting and fundraisers.

Participating NAU clubs and organizations include NAU’s Mariachi Mar y Sol, Kappa Delta Chi sorority, Gamma Alpha Omega sorority, Omega Delta Phi fraternity, Hermanas — United for Change, No More Deaths / No Más Muertes, Le Fe, M.E.Ch.A. and Art and Cultural Advocacy Association.

The event is also supported by the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC), Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces. Ballet Folkorico de Colores de Flagstaff and Latino Outdoors.
