Patricia McKee (recently on the Theatrikos stage as Lane in The Clean House and director of The Graduate) will teach an acting workshop on Saturday, October 28, 1-4 p.m., at Theatrikos Theatre Company. All skill levels are welcome. McKee is trained in the Neighborhood Playhouse Technique of acting, developed by revered acting teacher Sanford Meisner. “Meisner” is taught across the U.S. and especially in larger cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Actors Robert Duvall, Allison Janney, David Mamet, Mackenzie Davis, Brian Geraghty, and Jasmine Cephas Jones are all Meisner alumni. The cost of the class is $45. There will also be separate weekly acting workshops, starting on Sunday, October 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. and repeating weekly until November 12.
