Luther Gerlach is an expert in historical processes of photographer and will demonstrate wet-plate collodion and other historical process using his plexiglass "darkroom," and several very large cameras. Not to be missed, Luther gives this talk at the Getty Museum and other national institutions.
As an expert with more than 30-years experience, he has contributed to the Getty Museum’s Encyclopedia of Photographic Processes. His work is exhibited internationally and included in major private and museum collections, including the private collection of Michelle Obama and LACMA’s permanent collection.
This will be a demonstration and lecture with many large cameras, and an “outdoor” darkroom.
