Short biographies:
Alice L. Ferris, MBA, CFRE, ACFRE is the founding partner of GoalBusters Consulting, LLC, and has over twenty years of professional fundraising experience. She is a two-time honoree as AFP-Northern Arizona Fundraising Professional of the Year and the 90th fundraising professional in the world to attain the Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) credential. In addition to serving in the past as a development staff person with several nonprofit boards, she is also a very active volunteer on boards. She has held almost every nonprofit board position, from ex officio member to chair.

James S. Anderson has more than 25 years of training experience through his positions with research companies such as Nielsen Media, Simmons and Scarborough Research. Jim has developed training programs that were implemented in over 300 television stations nationwide. In addition to his training experience, Jim conducts organizational assessments, identifying resource gaps, hidden skills, and methods to improve effectiveness. He currently serves as president of AFP Northern Arizona and was the 2010 AFP-Northern Arizona Fundraising Professional of the Year.

Both Alice and Jim are Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Teachers.
