Harvest Time for the Singing Ant People

The Hozhoni Art Gallery proudly presents Harvest Time for the Singing Ant People, an exhibition and puppet-making workshop by the Hozhoni Artists, Saturday, October 19, 2013, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm.

Join the Hozhoni Artists for a FREE day of fun and exploration. Learn to make ant and insect marionettes and puppets in a professional studio environment with artists as mentors. This workshop offers a creative and fun path to tap into your imagination and design working puppets and marionettes. Explore a range of techniques and materials used in puppet-making.

The workshop is open to all skill levels. All art materials will be provided.

This is an all-day workshop with one hour for lunch. Snacks will be provided; however, please bring a sack lunch.

The exhibit, Harvest Time for the Singing Ant People, will be on display from October 12, 2013 – November 15, 2013.

Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm; Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Closed Sundays.

The Hozhoni Gallery is owned and operated by the Hozhoni Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities in Northern Arizona since 1971.
