Harry Potter, everyone’s favorite wizard, will be celebrating his birthday on July 31.  To commemorate Harry’s birthday and the release of the blockbuster book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in paperback, Northern Arizona University Campus Bookstore will host an event that features Harry Potter inspired activities.

The NAU Narwhals will be teaching kids the rudiments of Quidditch. There will also be a table promoting their team, so university students can sign up. There will be readings, contests (with prizes!), coloring and activity pages, plus crafts for kids. We’ll have coupons for $5 off any general book purchase of $25 or more (does not apply to textbooks).Adults and kids can register to win prizes.

Thursday, August 3, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, Northern Arizona University Campus Bookstore will host a Harry Potter Birthday Celebration. Here’s your chance to get copies of J.K. Rowling’s latest book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in paperback—along with toys, collectibles, coloring books and other Harry Potter merchandise! Come dressed as your favorite character from the series and get your picture posted on our website. NAU Bookstore is located at 1015 S. San Francisco (Building #35 on NAU maps). Parking is available in the garage just south of the bookstore. Route 10 of NAIPTA’s Mountain Line Bus Service also stops right in front of the Beaver Street entrance of the store.
