Performing from 6-7pm: Al Rakasaat

Al Rakasaat, Flagstaff's premier Turkish/Egyptian Dance Ensemble, will be featured at Heritage Square for the August 4th Downtown Art Walk. This prestigious company of dancers and percussionists will perform authentic Middle Eastern Dance rhythms and ancient dance steps. Directed by Karen Custer Thurston, M.S. the company's performance will feature choreographies by the Director and members of the company. Swirling fabrics, pulsating Near Eastern drum rhythms on a soft summer evening on the Colorado Plateau. See you there!

Description: Steve Elowson is a local Flagstaff Singer/Songwriter.
He’ll play tunes that everyone knows from the last few decades and a few of his originals.
Steve has been compared to Jackson Browne to Jack Johnson.
