This week’s speaker, Jim Manley is a senior attorney at the Goldwater Institute’s Scharf- Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation. Jim litigates Goldwater Institute cases nationwide in the areas of free speech, economic liberty, and taxpayer protections. He has been fighting to protect and expand freedom for over a decade. On August 17th, Jim will be discussing why the soul of the American University is the free exchange of ideas and when schools disinvite a speaker whose ideas are “too controversial” that exchange is diminished.
