Come listen to multi-instrumentalist Zac Léger perform on Irish pipes, whistles, flutes, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bouzouki with Sheila Maguire on fiddle and Gordon Gower on flutes and whistles. Zac Léger has performed with some of the top groups in Irish Music today including John Doyle, Liz Carroll, Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul, and John Whelan. You may have seen Zac perform with John Whelan in 2010. Sheila Maguire has performed with Cherish the Ladies and Lord of the Dance and is known for her fiery, passionate Irish fiddle playing that has been heard all across the US, Canada, and Ireland. Gordon Gower is renowned for his disciplined embouchure and powerful tone, Gower has spent countless thousands of hours perfecting the demanding ornaments and conventions of Irish flute playing. In 1999, Geordie met legendary flute player Matt Molloy, which cemented his commitment to the conical wooden flute. Gower has made numerous trips to Ireland, studying at summer workshops and taking lessons from notable performers such as Alan Doherty and Eamonn de Barra.
