From Memorial Day through Labor Day, Walnut Canyon National Monument will be offering guided hikes that allow you to discover the behind-the-scenes life of Walnut Canyon. From the work of the early Park Rangers and the historic Ranger Cabin, to the unique experience of living life on the canyon ledge, there is something new for everyone to discover.
The Ranger Cabin Hike is easy, lasts two hours, and will take place each Sunday from 9:15am - 11:15am. This visit to some of Walnut Canyon’s backcountry will provide a glimpse into the early history of the area. Please arrive at the Visitor Center at 9:00am to check in.
Reservations are required as space on this unique hike is very limited. Please call (928) 526-3367 for information and to reserve a space.
Entrance fees are $5.00 per person age 16 and over. America the Beautiful passes are honored and sold.
